Grenade

alrighty, sooo this week i named my blog after Bruno Mars' Grenade. this song is literally the story of my life! its about him(bruno) being heart broken and talking about his ex. just the first few lines is me all the way. "easy come, easy go. thats just how you live, oh, take take take it all, but you never give. shoulda known you were troubble from the first kiss. had your eyes wide open, why were they open?" this samee thing happened to me with my last ex! our first kiss she had her eyes open, and it ended with her chearint on me.....twice! butt oh well! im much better off without her anyways :] anywasys! we just finished a movie in class and it was about magic and all what not. i really liked it because i can relate to it! not by the whole plan to get away and such, butt because im a magician too! :D hahaa, not many of you know because i never take my stuff with me to school! the most i do at school is read minds, or a few card tricks. really its two. i make a card change to another card infront of you, or ill take one card and spin it on my finger like hoe people do with basketballs! but i guess some of the other things i do make up for the lack of magic i do :p for example ive been doing alot of penn spinning! i only know two other people who are good at it. Zach ferry is one of them, and the other is zac tucker(or pogo dude) . sooo yeah thats fun. if you guys look at me durning class im usually doing a thumbaround, but make sure you also look at the pen i always use! it has 2 caps on it for better balence so it spins better. i have a few of them :D butt thats all for this week. ohh wait! no its not! :D im getting a hair cut!!! no more long hair for nalo! hahaha see you guys on the 3rd!

sooo, once again I'm having to fo this from my phone! Soo please forgive any mispellings that go on! Alrigty, soo this week in class we started a new and exiciting unit! MISTERY! :D im really liking it so far! the last movie was awesomeee! hahaa, alright got that done and over with...musicc! soo this song the i named by blog after my gretest influence as a guitarust,RANDY RHOADS!!!! this guy was an amazing guitarust, he was in the band quiet riot and ozzy osbourne! with out randy ozys solo carrer would  not have taked off like it did. he mixed lassical and rock music to get his style! my friends ,and possible future band mate, cooper bourne is pretty much in love with randy! we had the same speech class and he did one of his speeches on him. but its inda funny thoug, we both love randy, and yet we both play alot in the key of Am.  hmm.... not sure what else to say....oh yeah! randy said him self that he was always a rythm guitarist, and thougt he would never be good enough to be a lead guitarist. i found that little fact quite interesting! saddly as i start to wrap up this blog i must end with randys end. one day while on tour randy and the bus driver went up in an airplain to have fun! but unknowlingly randy is flying high again(did you see what i did there:D its a song he did with ozzy!) he didnt know the driver had his pilots licence taken away from him. he crashed the plain into a moutain....both on bored died. devistated ozzy didnt want to go on and search for another guitarist because randy was such a good family friend, but he did and he remembers randy every year on his birthday. well thats all i have! soo see you all tuesday! i got snowed in in toledo! :3

an elephant never forgets

sooo, this week the blog is named after my friends band, the cities beneath us's song , an elephant never forgets. the song is very good! i helped cover it with an acoustic viriation with them! i sang :3! the song is about a guy thinking back on his old relationship and coming to some conclutions! the opening lyrics are "i never thought this would hapen to me, it was all so perefect."  one of the verses' goes "...its all gone, and now we're through. how does it feel knowing i never loved you? and even when i thought you were true." i love the song!  put it on my ipod in with in a month it showed up on my top 25 most played! and i have ALOT of songs on my ipod! quick random english thought. in class we just did this thing with gays, and how they are treated. i support them, if they want to be happy then so be it! they are human just like you and i, they bleed like we do, and they are dying for our counrty like others are! anyone who dies for our counrty in this pointless war needs to be respected and treated as a human! i really cannot stand people who are so homophobic that they cant see that we are all the same, and constantly hating gays! in John Lennons words "Give peace a chance." so if you are reading this and you are indeed a homophobe, please give them a chance! they did nothing wrong to you, and they are free to do whatever makes them happy as you and i are! and with that i leave you.....

       1 Sarny, a 12 year old slave, faces a hopeless life. Her chief duties at the plantation of Clel Waller are serving at table, spitting tobacco juice on roses to prevent bugs, and secretly conveying intimate messages between Waller's wife Callie, and Dr. Chamberlaine. Then Nightjohn arrives. A former runaway slave who has scars on his back, he takes Sarny under his wing and, in exchange for tobacco, secretly begins to teach her to read and write, a crime punishable by death. He starts by drawing letters in the dirt and tells her that no one must know. At her baptism, Sarny steals a Bible that belongs to Waller's son Jeffrey, and practices reading by lantern in the slave housing. The Bible serves another purpose when Nightjohn forges a pass for Outlaw to use in escaping to freedom in the North with his beloved Egypt. Waller finds the Bible and demands to know who stole it. Delie,the onw who cared for Sarny, fears for her and takes the blame. But Nightjohn takes the lashing Delie is to receive, saying he's the one because he can read. He tries to run away but is caught, and his hand is tied to a chopping block. With an ax, Waller takes off it off, exacting the brutal penalty for Nightjohn's literacy. As he is dragged off to be sold, he tells Sarny, "When they cut off one hand, the other hand grows stronger." That night Sarny writes a pass for Egypt that will let her join Outlaw on the flight to freedom. Two days later their escape is discovered and the fake passes are found. Waller knows Nightjohn wrote Outlaw's pass, but not the second pass. He interrupts a church service to demand the answer, threatening to kill all his slaves if no one tells. Sarny confesses, but says he'll kill no one. As Waller raises his rifle, Sarny ask Callie to speak up for her, hinting that she has read the messages to Dr. Chamberlaine. Callie refuses, but the doctor, fearful Sarny will reveal the relationship, says he's at fault. He tells of teaching Egypt some reading and writing, but now declares it was a mistake. Callie orders that Sarny be sold, and as she is joined to a line of other slaves, she asks if any of them have tobacco to trade. What has she to give in return? they want to know. And Sarny draws an A in the dirt.

          2 In 1937 Malcolm moves in with the Swerlins, a white foster family. He accepts their generosity, but feels more like a “mascot” or a pet than a human being equal to those around him. Malcolm is first in his class at Mason Junior High, but he does not feel comfortable at school. Though he is proud when the students elect him class president, he feels like a “pink poodle” more of an oddity than a human being. In history class Malcolm finds only one paragraph on black history in the textbook. The teacher laughs as he tells Malcolm’s class that though the slaves have been freed, black people are still lazy and dumb. Malcolm tells his English teacher, Mr. Ostrowski, that he wants to become a lawyer. Though Mr. Ostrowski supports the professional aspirations of white students who are less intelligent than Malcolm, he tells Malcolm to become a carpenter. Malcolm comes to resent his white school and home, and realizes that even well meaning white people do not see black people as their equals. Malcolm grows up quickly, and racial barriers frustrate him. He gets a job washing dishes, and he sometimes visits his mother at the mental hospital. He also visits his brothers and sisters, who live in different cities. On weekends, he dances to swing music at bars, where he sees interracial romances that cannot happen openly in Lansing. White boys pressure Malcolm to ask out white girls, but he realizes they just want a dirty secret to hold over the girls heads. Malcolm spends the summer of 1940 in Boston, visiting his half sister, Ella. Frustrated by how he has been treated at school and at home, Malcolm decides to move to Boston. The Swerlins do not understand why Malcolm wants to leave, and Malcolm is not able to explain his motivation to them. He moves into an upstairs room in Ella’s house in Roxbury. He is glad to move away, later seeing that if he had stayed in Lansing, he would have gotten a menial job or become a complacent middle class lawyer. Though only fifteen, he can pass for several years older, and he begins to look for a job..      

            3  The Great Debaters, NightJohn, and Mascot had similarities they share. The chapter Mascot had Malcom X want to become a lawyor when he grew up, and in the Great Debaters Samantha Booke did grow up to become one. Malcom X had no support from anyone, so he gave up on his dream, but Samantha Booke received much from her teammates and town. The settings in Nightjohn and The Great Debaters were both down in the south.  In Nightjohn, Pawley would go see his girlfriend at night and in The Great Debaters Henry Lowe went out to see a girl one night and got in trouble when he came back. all of the stories had the main characters were all trying to reach a certain goal of their own. All of the stories had the violations of human rights. The Great Debaters and Mascot took place at around the same time, while Nightjohn took place during slavery. That’s how all three stories tied into eachother.

sooo id have to say this week went great! i finshed most of my driving school and i feel really good about it! i met up with a friend for the first time in 6 years!! we say the new harry potter and she broght her friend along with her! but the movie was just amazing! soo much happened! then soon after that i saw saw3D with my dad. yeahh thats right! two movies in one day! saw3D was awesome too, but it had alot of twist witch messed with me alot.  but anywhozil, fun weekend. alrighty, soo i got that outta the way, now time for some engligh. we are watching the great debaters nor debators....maybe neither, but whatever! the point is that its a great movie! ohh and i think MSU won their game if im not mistaken.....sooo i know mr. potter is going to be bragging alot about that to  justin! okay, music! dont you just love how i talk about it just about every blog? i know i do! music is just wonderful! lets you express your emotions and what not. its just super crazy awesomeness amounts of fun that goes in your ears! but this time i named my blog after my chemical romance's dead! this song is one of the most catchy songs you wikk ever listen to! soooo........TODAYS MY BIRTHDAY! :D im finally sixteen years old! so fun and after i get these driving classes and driv time done ima have my licence! soo so far this year is the best year for me! i got all A's and one B! my GPA is a 3.88 which means i made the hornor roll! soo yeah! awesome year! i think ill get english out of the way right here. sooo we just fininshed the play 12 angrey men, an i though it was good! i would like to know more about the case and what happened after the fact, you know, who else was convicted, then if there is someone else the trial with all the things the jury said before. i really get into tgis stuff about the law because my dad is a FBI dectivie! :] sooo i guess he's the reason i for me being intrested in it. ohh little fun fact about my family, well is really my dad and his work, but i was born on the same day when he got his first job of being a police officer! he had to leave work and everything for me. he says his boss knows all about me, when i was born and ect. sounds kinda creepy if you ask me. but oh well! cant change that now can i? nope. but  back to the fact that im SIXTEEN!! sorry, im just really happy! made it to the milestone of my teenage years! but yesterday i had a party that was really fun. not gonna say much about it, but we almost burned my house down :] ohh i almost forgot, music! ahh music, the thing that makes me me. this week i decided to name my blog after the prince of darkness' Mr. Crowley! i love this song so much! id have to say its my favorit  by him! but thats about all i can say! i have a smore cake! thats right! marshmellow on the outside, chocolate filling, and gramcraker flavored cake :D well byee!

face fisted

sooooo, this week i decided to name my blog ater Dethkloks song "Face Fisted". the song is probably the heaviest song i know. i mean, just the first measure of it and you already want to start to head banging. its that awesome. and the band, dethklok, it just amazing too! they have a show called metalnocalypce. all the songs is witted, produced, and played by a man named Brenden Small. this man is awesome!! he does all of the vioces in the show, and he does all the guitar solos. now the solos are mind blowing! just non stop shredding! pretty awesomeeee! english time!!!!!!! okay, sooo in class we are reading a play called 12 angry men, and so far i like it! its a very good story, and it makes you think! i cant wait to se how it ends! okay back to music. sooooo, my friend D.J. Gutierrez has a band, and the are awesome!!! and i was in toledo this weekend hanging out with them. saturday they recorded in perrysburg and i got to tag along! as they were doing their stuff i was sitting back singing along to the songs. now they are a hardcore band which means that they scream insted of sing, but the guitarist Jon heard me singing and suggested they do and acoustic cover of one of their songs :D now since im not in the band i didnt get a big part, but i still did it! sooo if you wanna hear it just ask me! but my show walking dead is on soo ima go! sea yaa!

livin' on the edge

fun fun fun

alrighty, this week was a really fun week in my life and so will this up comming week be. just today i was with my friend Zac Tucker and  Joe Chandler. these two guys are awesome people! you all may know Zac as the pogo guy, or that guy who failed a wallflip and anded on his face! anywhozil back to what i was talking about, we were at some event at woodside green park for holloween hoping to get money out of it. Zac did his pogo thing and I played my guitar like to keep the people intertained with songs they all know such as Dream on, Crazy train, paradice city, and many more. all and all i made about $20 out of it so that was fun! then the day before i had my art class at CCAD. the class only lasted for two hours because we had a party that day. i brought my guitar, played a few things for people, and looked awesome doing it. i dont know why, but when ever you have a guitar in your hands you always have more people like you and notice you, even if you are not playing anything! maybe thats how awesome a guitar is? guitars in the world hold some type of super power? i do not know, but its still an amazing pice of wood. so i hope that encouraged you to go buy a guitar after your done reading this! or if you have one go pick it up right now and play this....

okay sooo, today president obama came to town today, and i went with my family to go see him. i just got a nice shirt iorning my shirt and i didnt want it to get dirty because i still hade 3 hours before we were goingt to leave. then when it was time to go i put it on and my sister kept yelling "its T-shirt time!!!" i had no idea what it ment! so if anyone cares to explain, please do. bleh, this trial is getting annoying for english. i cant beleve sooo much time wnr into this case. it happened in 1996 and i dont think anyone has been arrested and found guilty. well time time to talk about music again! so this week i decided to learn spanich style guitar or flamenco to be exact! its a really fun, yet hard style to play. there is so much that goes into playing flamenco! and sooo many ways to pluck the strings! quick little fact here, Metallicas song "All Nightmear Long" was origanilly going to be called flamenco because it was inspired by their  bassist playing flamenco style durning break sessions when they were recording their abulm. so i found that pretty cool. anyways im trying to learn the style on just a reggular acoustic guitar, not a nylon string. i would much rather prefer a nylon string guitar because it sounds better, and it wound cut you as much(if any) then the copper strings! i tell you man, if you want to learn flamenco DO NOT USE COPPER STRINGS!!

HOMECOMING

sooooo homecomming was amazing! it was by far the best night of my life yet! ihope winterr formal is just as fun. i danced so much and i tought people how to salsa dance! i would relive it if i could. but since im talking about school i should talk about english. so we are researching a trial, and i wanted to do the pat tillman case, but i couldnt find much at all about the trials the generals went through at all. so, im going to do the JonBenét Ramsey murder. so i hope this one is better to research. but ima talking about music now, as i do almost every blog.so i started writing some riffs to become parts of songs.  i really like how they sound as of now. if anyone wants some tabs for them just ask me and ill get them to you. UNRELATED TOPIC: rember  my friend DJ? the one in the band? well anyways he invited me to a show of theres on the 30th! so that should be fun. does any one know when trick or treat is? im planning on doing this haunted house with some friends, but we have no idea when it it. then for holloween im going to toledo wo trick or treat with my friends over there. im going to be a metal head guitarist and im going all out! tattos, long hair wig, eye liner, and im going to paint my nails black, but im going to have some one do that for me because i have no idea how to do it with out messing up. but im done for today! thanks for reading! sea yaa!

im really cold.

sooo, im in toledo this weekend because im visiting my dad. i get to see him every other weekend. but anyways as the tital says im really cold right now! not like cold hearted, but temp. wise! my weird fingers are numb and i can bearly type this blog! for some reason its usually colder inside the house for some reason, not sure why, but i dont like it. i forgot to bring a hoodie with me because i was in a rush. i bearly got my phone and guitar before we left. it was a mistake to bring the guitar because guitars and cold weather just dont go well together at all. the cold air messes with  the guitars body and paint, and then since my fingers are basicly numb i cant finger a single thing without messing up. well  time to get to the topic about english class. soooo we finished the book, yay! i already knew what happened anyways, so the ending and just the book in general went a big shocker for me. i really want to see the play tho! my boy alvaro is going to be in it!  so thats going to be fun. now to make a sandwich! and by that i mean talking about me in toledo again! toledo, english, toledo. anywhozil, i was with my friend anythony and we saw the movie "let me in". it was the best movie ive ever seen. but the movie its self had some plot holes in it, but we filled them in. you see durning every movie we see we make fun of parts in it. so because of that fact we have to sit in the front so we dont disturb people around us. then after the movie we hung out with my other friend D.J. Gutierrez. now D.J. is in a band called The Cites Beneath Us. if you want go check them out, their on myspace. now they are a hardcore band and my friemd anthony dosent like that type of music, so when we were jaming out he wasnt the most delightful person ever. but i have to cut this short because the laptop is going to die. sea yaa!

to kill a mocking bird

alrighty, soo in class we are reading to kill a mockingbird and its a very good book so far. the school is doing a to kill a mocking bird play as well. and two of my friends that i know of tryed out for it. amanda wiss tryed out for the part of scout and alvaro(not sure how to spell his last name) tryed out for some one too, but idk who. but alvaro is in my band that im starting! we dont have a name yet but were thinking of one. its either between as the skies fall(witch i like alot), silvercloud, or diminiom. so if  you could leave a comment saying witch out you like more that would be very helpfull. anyways our band consist of austin washburn as the singer, zach whiteman, alvaro, and i as guitarist, yeah thats right THREE GUITARIST x], noah adkinson as the bassist. and we dont have a drummer yet! so if your one or if you know one then please tell me. were thinking of playing stuff like RadioU but i dont know yet. alvaro and i just had a small jam session not to long ago and we sound really good together. were both self taught with very little lessons. but we were talking and we need and we need a song for the whole band to learn. i was thinking either walk this way by aerosmith or for whome the bell tolls by metallica. if you have any suggestions as to a simple song for us to learn first we would pleased to hear it! i hope we get things together here soon so you guys(and girls) can hear it! well it looks like im about done here so im going.

BOO!

alrighty so im talking to my cousin and we got into a covosation about zombies. it went on for about 3 hours, yeah, were zombie fanatics, and durning the convosation  i brought up how we had to draw boo. i told him all about him and what people thnk of him. after i got done he had a look of shock on his face. then he said "dude! thats awesome! i wanna eat cats!" he really seemed to like what i told him, and i told him the book name and said, "now dont just \get the book because of boo!" now speaking of that boo, when we were drawing boo in class was awesome. ilove to draw and that activity was just perfect for me. another really good artist is zach ferry, and one day he say me graffiting  durning class and asked me if i have a tag. i said yes and did it, then he showed me his tag. we found out that we both graffiti, become graphic designrs, and go to CCAD . so in our convosation i told him about this art program i just started. the program is called "the art explorer of CCAD" or as they call it "the post" after the whole convosation of it he said it sounded really cool and that he wanted to look into it. now the post is a highly talked about program that does great things for highschoolers. it teaches all types of art and gives you a new experince. the teachers said that no one has ever went through their program and gotted below $40,000 in schollarships in the past ten years. this spanish teenager got $85,000 or more for his schollarship. so going into this makes me very happy that its setting me up for my future.

"IF"

This is just alittle post that I wanted to do. The poem "IF" is the best poem ever! adter reading it in englight i loved it. so thats it, just wanted to say that it was the most super crazy awesome poem ever!

Donnie Darko

Alright, so when I found out that mr. potter liked Donnie Darko I was freaking out! DONNIE DARKO IS THE MOST CONFUSSING MOVIE EVER!!! I had to watc it five times before I could understand what happened. if you havnt seen the movie yet then please DONT you wont understand it at all! I have just watched the movie again so I can put a summary for you if you havent seen it.

1. October 1, 1988. Donnie is on the hill, looking at the sky, laughing. He rides his bike home and goes to sleep. 
2. October 2, After midnight, Donnie is woken up by Frank-Bunny, saving him from a jet engine crashing into his room. The jet engine is actually from October 30, disappearing through time  28 days into the past. This event distorts everything and creates a tangent universe (TU). In the TU, Fran the Bunny guides Donnie Darko on a 28 day journey through this alternate tangent dimension to save the universe. 
3. October 30, Tangent universe: After his journey through the TU the jet engine breaks off the plane (that his mother and sister are coincidentally on), and from the Tangent universe, Donnie, using a wormhole, sends it back to the Primary universe (PU), giving it a reason for being. The only object that went back in time from the tangent universe to the primary universe was the jet engine. In doing so the TU and everything in it is replaced by the PU, and time is reset too.
4. October 2, Primary universe: Jet engine appears in the PU. Donnie and everyone else are reset and repositioned. Primary Donnie, back in bed, is killed by the Jet Engine.

I could not figure this movie out alone. so I had about five other friends who have seen and know Donnie Darko to help me with the explanition, and ALOT of the spelling, like the word tangent. I kept putting tangant. Anyways, do not see this movie unless your up for putting the peices of this huge puzzle together.
